A little bit about me:
Mark working on a knife at the grinder I have spent most of my life in central Illinois. I am an Information Technology Director for a mid-size not-for-profit that supports people with developmental disabilities. I made my first knives in early 2007, and have been excitedly exploring the craft ever since. I am currently making knives on a part-time basis. Each year I try to make a few more than I did during the previous year, but production is still only in the dozens per year. While I am learning to forge blades, most of what I make is from the stock removal process. I hope to offer forged blades to my customers in the near future.
